DENVER, COLORADO
THE SEASON YOU’RE IN
The family you know today is forever changing.
We’ll make room for movement, play, connection and chaos. Come as you are. I’ll take care of the rest.
CHAPTER 2
FAMILY
Beautifully composed. Wonderfully undone.
Your children play. Someone can wonder off. There should be bare feet, belly laughs, tangled arms and a generous heap of chaos. I’ll guide when it’s needed and leave space when something better begins to unfold on its own.
Because I’m not trying to make your family look perfect. Well, maybe for just a few. Mostly, I’m trying to make photographs that feel like you.

MY PROCESS
PLAN
Before your session, we’ll think through more than what everyone will wear. We’ll talk about your family, your children, the location, the light, and how you want these photographs to feel. The planning builds trust between us, so when the session arrives you can let go of the details and simply be with the people you love.
CREATE
You won’t need to wonder where your hands belong or remind your children to smile. I”ll guide you when you need me, then give you room to forget about me. I will encourage you to play, comfort and get lost in your family. As everyone settles in, guards come down, smiles become real and the small gestures and connections I could never plan begin to unfold.
LIVE WITH ART
After the session, together we will view your photographs and choose the images and artwork you love most. I will help you design each piece so the portraits become part of your home and family life.
04
Investment
Classic Sessions begin at $1500.

FAQ
When is the best time of year for family portraits?
Family sessions can be beautiful throughout the year. Outdoor sessions are typically scheduled in June and July for beautiful saturated green pastures and Colorado blue sky days. September and October are also popular as the leaves begin to change. My intimate and cozy Denver studio is available year round.
What should we wear?
What you wear is one of the most important elements in creating the beautiful, elegant, timeless photographs you see throughout my work. The colors, textures and coordination must work together to support the narrative, yet not distract from the true subjects: you and your family. For Classic Sessions, we’ll thoughtfully plan your wardrobe together. You’ll also have personalized recommendations so every detail feels intentional and cohesive.
What if my children don’t cooperate?
They don’t need to! I’ve been photographing children and families for nearly 30 years and have seen it all. I never expect children to perform for the camera. I’ll guide them when needed, give them room when warranted, and create opportunities for genuine interaction. The best photos happen when we start trying to make children smile.
Many people are led to believe shorter mini sessions are better for wild children. I’ve found the extra time in my Classic Session offer gives them space to settle in and eventually forget about the camera.
Will you tell us what to do during the session?
Absolutely. I’ll guide you through where to stand, what to do with your hands, and how to interact so you never feel awkward or unsure. As everyone settles in, I’ll step back more and allow the natural gestures and connections between you to unfold.
How many photographs are included?
As a classically trained artist, I deeply believe in quality or quantity. And that belief has never held more true as I watch families get overwhelmed by the ever growing number of photos on their own phone. I share only the best of the best images, the ones that fuel emotion and push your story forward. A typical session provides 60-75 images for preview. Then we spend a moment together to find the ones most meaningful to you.
What happens after our session?
We will meet for an ordering appointment where you’ll see your photographs for the first time and choose your favorites. I’ll also help you decide what you want to live with beyond the screen, whether that’s framed artwork for your walls, an album, or simply additional digital images.
