MATERNITY
Pregnancy can feel deeply beautiful and completely unfamiliar at the same time.
You may not feel quite like yourself. You may wonder what to wear, what to do with your hands, or whether you will feel comfortable being photographed at all.
You do not need to arrive knowing how to pose or how the session should unfold. I will help you plan every detail, guide you gently throughout the session, and create the space for photographs that feel graceful, honest, and entirely your own.
Maternity sessions are photographed in my Denver studio using soft natural light, simple styling, and a restrained approach that keeps the attention where it belongs: on you and the family already forming around this baby.

PLAN
Before your session, I want to know and help plan all the details. Who are we photographing, how you hope the photographs will feel, what you will wear, and where the finished artwork may live. Every choice is made with the final photographs in mind.
CREATE
My professional makeup artist will create a naturally beautiful look for your portraits while you relax with a sparkling water, a few light refreshments and all the mom talk. During your maternity session, I will guide you through natural movement, posture, and placement while watching for the small gestures that make the photographs feel personal. You never need to arrive knowing what to do.
LIVE WITH ART
After the session, together we will view your photographs and choose the images and artwork you love most. I will help you design each piece so the portraits become part of your home and family life.
Should you choose a studio or outdoor maternity session?
Why the studio
Without distractions, changing weather, or busy backgrounds, your attention naturally settles on what matters most. Beautiful light. Thoughtful styling. The quiet anticipation of this season. It's a space where every detail has been carefully considered so you can simply be present.
Why outside
The rolling hills, open fields, and mountain light of Colorado create a completely different feeling. More movement. More space. More adventure. If you imagine yourself barefoot in a meadow, wrapped in the evening light with the mountains in the distance, an outdoor session may be the perfect fit.

Investment
Maternity sessions begin with a creative fee of $400 to reserve your date. Framed artwork, digital images, and albums are purchased separately after your session. Most clients invest between $1,700 and $4,000 in their finished photographs and digital archive.
You can add my highly sought after hair & makeup artist to any session (her work can be seen in all of my maternity images). She’s literally the best.
A limited number of portrait sessions are accepted each month so every family receives thoughtful planning, unhurried guidance, and individual artwork design.

FAQ
When should I schedule my maternity session?
I prefer to photograph your growing belly around 32 weeks. If you’re expecting twins, then a touch earlier at 27 weeks. But every woman is unique. So I work with you and how you’re growing to determine the best time.
Where do maternity sessions take place?
You can choose my natural light studio or outside. Outdoor locations are typically photographed in south west Littleton area in the foothills.
What should I wear?
Once we book, we will start the fun of planning the perfect styling for you from a flowing dress or styling pants to intimates.
Can my partner and children participate?
Yes! All are welcome.
How far in advance should I reserve my session?
Please contact me within 2-3 months of your desired date. I also coach other photographers, so I accept a very limited number of sessions each month.
What if I do not feel comfortable in front of the camera?
If you're feeling nervous, you're in good company. Nearly every client says the same thing, and by the end of the session they're surprised by how relaxed and enjoyable the experience felt. It’s literally my job to know the best angles, lighting and prompts to help you relax.
Do you retouch maternity portraits?
Oh yes! Minimally and only what will help a mama glow though.
When will I see my photographs?
Within two weeks of your session, together we will review your portraits (this is the best moment of all).
What artwork is available?
As a mom to three, I’ve spent years figuring out the best way to enjoy your family memories and searching for only the best craftsmen and vendors. I offer albums, custom framing, prints and digitals for storage.
Do you offer maternity and newborn sessions together?
I do offer The Anthology Membership which provides you with three sessions during baby’s first year and a discount on all products. However, I only offer this after our first session together to ensure you’ve loved your experience. If you’re interested in hearing more, let me know when you inquire.
