FAMILY FILMS
The fastest moment in your baby’s life will be the first few weeks. Your sweet one will go from a newborn to a baby in a blink. These beautiful films, presented in a linen bound album, are the perfect way to capture the tender newness in a way only a movie can.
DOCUMENTING YOUR NEW BABY
I love creating pretty portraits, but also enjoy making the entire process easy. You have enough on your plate! I have a closet of dresses for mom and some outfits for older siblings, as well as all the blankets and swaddles we should need for your session. You’ll find my studio stocked with diapers, wipes, a changing table, snacks and drinks. You’ll have an area to rest and another to get ready while I photograph baby.
During your session, I will guide your family into natural posing and arrangements, encourage you to engage with each other, and allow the natural moments to pop up on their own. I am always gentle & friendly with children. As a mother to three and over 20 years photographing children, I’ve come to learn it’s always best to work with their flow rather than force anything on them.
My hope is you arrive ready to be in this moment: nuzzling your new bundle of joy, marveling at the newness of it all.
After your session, I will get to work curating the best collection of images possible. You will have the option of choosing from a set of digital collections, albums and wall art. I take the lead creating these memorable pieces for you, ensuring your images won’t collect dust on an old hard drive.
“
WE LOVE LAURA AND HER CREATIVE EYE FOR CAPTURING NATURAL MOMENTS. WE HAVE DONE A NEWBORN SESSION AND A CAKE SMASH WITH HER AND THE PHOTOS WE GOT I WILL CHERISH FOREVER. MY 22 MONTH OLD IS ON THE SHY SIDE SO I WORRIED WE WOULDN’T GET MANY GOOD SHOTS. IN BOTH SESSIONS, LAURA’S MAMA HEART SHOWED AND MADE MY DAUGHTER FEEL SO COMFORTABLE. SHE IS TRULY A REMARKABLE PHOTOGRAPHER AND CARRIES A LOVELY ENERGY THAT MAKES THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE STRESS FREE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. 100/10 RECOMMEND!”

FAQs
When should I book my newborn portrait session?
My schedule books up very quickly. I recommend scheduling your session as soon as possible, with a session date falling between 7-10 days of your due date. We will adjust accordingly. All newborn sessions must be photographed no later than 12 days old.
What should I plan to invest in my newborn portraits?
I work with families who want more than photos — they want a way to remember this season long after it has passed. Each portrait experience is designed to result in finished artwork, including heirloom albums and framed pieces that become part of your home and your family history. Clients should expect to invest $2000+ in finished artwork & digital files.
Do offer lifestyle newborn or newborn photos in the home?
I do! During your planning call, we will talk this through and ensure your home is the right location for your session.
How do I prepare for my newborn photos?
The most important role you have will be ensuring baby is very well fed. Once you book your session, I will send you over a full planning guide with a checklist as well as schedule a call to plan out details like styling your session and preparing the family.
How long is a newborn session?
My newborn sessions are approximately 2 hours, but I reserve the morning just in case your bundle of joy needs a little extra attention. To support a calm environment for all, I never rush newborn photos.
Photographing your session is just the beginning. The real work happens afterward, when we thoughtfully decide how this season of your life will be preserved.
We aren’t just taking photos. We are creating a legacy for your family.
Together, we’ll select the images that feel most meaningful and design finished artwork that lives with you, whether that’s a framed piece for your home or an album that holds your story over time. My role is to guide you through this process so nothing feels overwhelming or rushed.
Creating heirloom artwork is not an add-on. It is at the heart of how I serve families.

an investment in your legacy
The Collective Membership
The Collective Membership is designed for families who want more than a single session. It is for those who want a living record of their family as it grows.
Instead of treating portraits as one-off moments, the Collective allows us to intentionally preserve multiple seasons of your life and bring them together into something lasting.
How it works
Over a 14-month period, you may schedule up to four portrait sessions, allowing us to document your family through change, new ages, new dynamics, and new chapters.
Rather than starting from scratch each time, the Collective is built around a long-term vision:
a legacy wall of framed portraits that grows over time
or a heirloom album that holds your family’s story in one place
It’s about building something meaningful, slowly, intentionally, and beautifully.
What’s included
Up to four portrait sessions within 14 months
All session fees are waived for each session
A $200 artwork credit per session, applied toward either:
an end-of-year album, or
a growing legacy wall of framed prints
Membership Investment: $995
Artwork is selected separately after each session, once you’ve seen your images and I can guide you thoughtfully.
