You’ve heard the expression. The days are long, but the years are short. There is no truer statement about parenting than this one. Especially in the first year. Babies change dramatically every month. But there are three moments that must be captured!
Denver Newborn Photos
Photographing your newborn, by far, the fastest stage and the one, without hesitation, worth photographing. Within a few weeks, your little one will go from a newborn to a baby. I know, this sounds sort of silly, so let me explain.
A true newborn, typically 14 days and younger, still behaves like they are in the womb. Tiny babies still sleep beautifully, enjoy being swaddled and still have those newborn features that only last the first few days.

Milestones.
Babies grow more in the first year than any other time in their lives. This crazy growth will leave you feeling as though you’re always playing catch up. As soon as you get used to your baby’s schedule and personality, they change!
To photograph milestones, we suggest developmental stages versus your baby’s age. Our favorite milestones after newborn are:
Sitting up - Our favorite! A plump baby proudly sitting unassisted with a big smile and wide hopeful eyes? Yep. That’s the good stuff.
